Melanie has been a key part of major health legislation, serving senior roles in both House and Senate Democratic offices, as well as staff at the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, a respected non-partisan research and policy institute that analyzes the impact of federal budget policies on people.

Megan
Hauck Marshall
Megan Hauck Marshall is a partner at Red+Blue Strategies and a rare mix of policy wonk, procedural expert, and strategist. Megan has held key leadership positions in the White House, advising President George W. Bush on health, welfare, and budget issues, as well as at the Department of Health and Human Services and within Senate Republican leadership shaping the GOP’s health policy agenda. Ben Klein
Ben Klein is a partner at Red+Blue Strategies and the go-to advisor for clients ranging from startups and nonprofits to Fortune 100 companies. Whether shaping broad advocacy efforts or building coalitions to tackle specific policy challenges, he breaks down the complexities of policy for the reality of business, creating strategies tailored to each client. He’s equally comfortable tackling policy challenges on health care, tax, trade, energy, and innovation policy with an approach that is both thoughtful and effective.
Ben has led work across all corners of Washington, serving in senior roles at a top 10 lobbying firm, in the Senate, as well as for some of the country’s most respected public health organizations.

Katie Wise
Katie Wise is an all-star problem solver and partner at Red+Blue Strategies where she blends her politics and policy know-how to help clients navigate an ever-changing world. She advises non-profit, government, and business groups on legislation, regulations, and court decisions guided by a savvy understanding of the nuanced complexities unique to today’s political climate.
Katie previously co-chaired the health care practice at a large government relations firm where she advised clients on a wide range of policy areas. She led lobbying efforts for the Federation of American Hospitals and held major positions in several House Republican offices working closely with the House Ways and Means Committee focusing on issues in health, trade, and tax.

Eden Tesfaye
Eden Tesfaye is the chief strategy officer at Red + Blue Strategies, where she leverages her extensive logistical and strategic expertise to help clients – and everyone around her– thrive. With a knack for organizing people and ideas, she ensures that every campaign, project, and event she touches runs smoothly and successfully. Eden excels at driving initiatives forward and empowering those around her to thrive. She’s a powerhouse and can find solutions to any obstacle that comes her way.
Eden has served key roles within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), leading engagement and strategy on top priorities from Medicaid redeterminations, behavioral and maternal health to suicide prevention. She’s also worked for the White House, on numerous presidential campaigns, and for New York City’s office of the mayor, demonstrating her mastery of developing and executing complex strategies, logistics, and communications for stakeholders at all levels. She is a strategic leader passionate about health policy, intergovernmental affairs, and public outreach.
